Overview

The SOE Experience

1. Earn up to six units of transferable college credit in five weeks.
2. Experience living away from home in a residence hall with 50-75 other SOE students per session.
3. Participate in a wide range of extracurricular activities.
4. Receive support from a friendly and motivated staff of peer advisors and coordinators.
5. Learn strategies for a successful transition to college life.
6. Meet new friends from Arizona and all over the country.
7. Gain independence and self-knowledge.
8. Have an awesome summer!!!

SOE 2008 Important Dates and Deadlines

May 15

1. Final application admission and scholarship deadline for Session 1
2. $65 program activity fee due; students admitted to the program after May 15th should pay as soon as possible after admission
3. ** No refunds of the $65 program activity fee after this date for students admitted prior fo May 15th.

May 30

1. Residence hall rent due

June 1

1. Final application admission and scholarship deadline for Session 2
2. Tuition due for Session 1

Saturday June 7

1. Residence hall check in for Summer Session 1

Monday June 9

1. First day of classes for Session 1

Thursday July 10

1. Last day of classes for Summer Session 1
2. Residence hall check out for Summer Session 1
3. Tuition due for session 2

Saturday July 12

1. Residence hall check in for Summer Session 2

Monday July 14

1. First day of classes for Summer Session 2

Wednesday August 13

1. Last day of classes for Summer Session 2
2. Residence hall check out for Summer Session 2
